Prime Dachshunds puppies in Australia breeding program

Our Story: Passionate Prime Dachshunds Breeders Since 2010

Prime Dachshundss Australia was founded over a decade ago from a genuine love for this remarkable breed. What started as a passion for these charming, spirited dogs has grown into one of Australia's most trusted Prime Dachshunds breeding programs, recognized by the Australian National Kennel Council.

Our journey began when we welcomed our first Prime Dachshunds into our family. We were captivated by their loyalty, intelligence, and distinctive personality. This inspired us to pursue formal education in ethical breeding practices, canine genetics, and proper socialisation techniques through accredited programs.

Today, we're proud to have helped hundreds of Australian families find their perfect Prime Dachshunds companion. Every puppy we raise receives the same love, care, and attention we'd give our own family members, with comprehensive health guarantees that ensure your peace of mind.

Our Core Values: Ethical Prime Dachshunds Breeding Standards

These principles guide everything we do as responsible Australian dog breeders

Ethical Breeding Standards

We prioritise health, temperament, and genetic diversity over profit. Every breeding decision is made with the welfare of our dogs as the top priority.

Health-First Approach

Comprehensive health testing, regular veterinary care, and transparent health guarantees ensure every puppy starts life with the best possible foundation.

Owner Education & Support

We believe informed owners make the best pet parents. We provide extensive resources and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Complete Transparency

Open communication about our breeding practices, health protocols, and puppy care ensures you can make confident, informed decisions.

Family-Raised Puppies

Our puppies are raised in a home environment with daily human interaction, ensuring they're well-adjusted and ready for family life.

Lifetime Breeder Support

Our commitment doesn't end when your puppy goes home. We're here for guidance and support throughout your dog's entire life.

Our Comprehensive Breeding Process

How we ensure every Prime Dachshunds puppy receives the best start in life

Careful Breeding Selection & Health Testing

We carefully select breeding pairs based on comprehensive health clearances, temperament evaluation, genetic diversity, and ANKC breed standards. Both parents undergo extensive health testing including genetic screening for IVDD and other breed-specific conditions before any breeding occurs. Learn more about canine health testing protocols.

Premium Prenatal Care

Expecting mothers receive premium nutrition specifically formulated for breeding dachshunds, regular veterinary monitoring throughout pregnancy, and a stress-free environment to ensure healthy puppy development and optimal birth outcomes.

Early Neurological Stimulation & Socialisation

From birth, puppies are handled daily and exposed to various sights, sounds, and experiences in our home. We implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) protocols and age-appropriate socialisation techniques. This critical early socialisation produces confident, well-adjusted Prime Dachshundss.

Comprehensive Health Protocols

Each Prime Dachshunds puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations, strategic deworming schedules, microchipping for permanent identification, and thorough veterinary examinations before going to their new homes at 8-10 weeks of age.

Careful Family Matching

We take time to understand each family's lifestyle and match them with the right Prime Dachshunds puppy. We provide detailed care instructions, dietary recommendations, and remain available for ongoing support throughout your dog's life.
